Job Description:
Carrying out / supervision of various ship board machineries repairs/overhauling, such as pumps, gear boxes, different type of valves, shafting, steering gear, hydraulic systems, winches etc.Interact with customer on board on technical matter in hand.Collecting / collating and distributing data affecting the market potential.

Candidate Profile:
1. Basic knowledge about:
(i) Classification rules
(ii) Various types of repair methods etc.
(iii) Engineering / technical knowledge

2. Functional knowledge and hands-on experience of the following:
(i) Repairs /overhauling of ship board machineries such as pumps, gear boxes, different type of valves, shafting, steering gear, hydraulic systems, winches etc.

3. Knowledge of various manufacturers and their related products4. Knowledge of ISO 9001-2000 quality systems:Existing quality systems and compliance at a basic level
